Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) Grades Affiliated Engineering Colleges
- Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) graded its affiliated engineering colleges based on 18 parameters.
- The colleges have been assessed for 1000 points and colleges that scored above 600 were given ‘A’ grade.
Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) has given a rating to its affiliated engineering colleges based on 18 parameters. The idea of the varsity is to motivate the affiliated colleges to perform better and regulate deficiencies. The rating will also help engineering aspirants to assess the college before taking admissions.
RTU ranked or rated engineering colleges with respect to 18 parameters including:-
- Seminars and journals published by the colleges in an academic session
- Number of conferences
- Number of students scoring first division
- Playground
- Insurance
- Hostel and Mess
- Number of smart classes
- Total enrolment of students and teachers
- Number of courses
- Student-teacher ratio
Out of 116 colleges that were assessed by the varsity, nine colleges managed to bag top spots by securing ‘A’ grade. The colleges have been assessed for 1000 points and colleges that scored above 600 were given ‘A’ grade.

RTU will reward the colleges that bagged the top grade. Colleges with ‘A’ grade will be given affiliation for the five years, while colleges with ‘B’ and ‘C’ grades will get three years and temporary affiliation respectively.
