No Re-exam for Class 12th Physics & Economics Paper, Clarifies CBSE
The news of the re-examination of two class 12th subjects of the CBSE Board had surfaced on social media platforms. The Board issued a notice and clarified that the news was fake.
Fake news was being circulated on social media stating that the class 12th CBSE Board examinations for the subjects of Economics and Physics will be re-conducted. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) made an announcement declaring that the news was fake and no re-examination is to be conducted for any subject.
CBSE is a board of the national level which is presently conducting the annual board exams of class 10th and 12th in India. The Board has asked the general public and the stakeholders to be vigilant and not pay any heed to such rumours. It requested the public to be cooperative with the Board so that the examinations can be conducted smoothly and fairly.

The Physics exam for class 12th was conducted on the 5th of March 2019 and the Economics exam was on 27th March 2019. The rumour of the re-examination of these subjects had emerged a short while after that on social media platforms.
The CBSE said that it had come to the notice of its Council members that such news was being circulated on WhatsApp. It rejected this hearsay and released a notice signed by the former Controller of Examinations, KK Choudhury, stating that this information was not true and no exam will be conducted again. The notice was dated 28th March 2019.
CBSE board exams of class 10th concluded on 29th March 2019 and the exams of class 12th will be over on 4th April 2019.

The results of the class 10th board exams are expected to be released by the first week of June while class 12th results will be out in the month of May.
