Students of Aravali Technical Studies (ATS). had prepared a man operated pump made on reciprocating technology.
Mechanical engineering students of the institute that developed this project have been highly appreciated . This project was executed under the guidance of Head of Department (HoD) of Mechanical Department Prof. Chetan Jaiswal and assistant professor Chirag Pokharna.
A team of Mechanical Engineering students Bhavesh Parmar, Karan Doshi,, Divyesh Mistri and Neel Lapsiwala had completed their project and made the pump with the help of two cylinders, pistons, and paddles of a bicycle. They said that they had used many recycling materials for this project. This machine helps in water relocating from one place to another and one just needs to do paddling, by this one can relocate water from one place to another and you will able to complete your daily exercise too.
The pump can be used regularly because there is no need of electricity for this machine and paddling will also give health benefit of cycling. Anyone can just transfer the water from ground floor to first or second floor just by paddling.
The project has got much appreciation from the students, teachers and parents. There was lots of discussion amongst the students of other branches regarding the project.
