Registrations for UPTET 2017 Begin, Apply by September 8

The Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh has issued an official notification for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test, also known as UPTET 2017. The registrations for the UPTET 2017 examination have commenced. Qualifying in UPTET 2017 examination will help the teachers to be eligible for the post of primary teachers. According to official notification, teachers who have been working on contractual basis can also appear for UPTET 2017. The examination will take place on October 15, 2017. The detailed application process for UPTET 2017 examination is elaborated below.

UPTET 2017 Application Process: -

• Visit the website of UP Basic Education Board.
• You can find the link for UPTET 2017 on the homepage.
• A series of links will be displayed including official notification, application and others.
• Click on ‘UPTET 2017’ notification link to get a clear idea of the schedule and other details of the examination.
• After reading the official notification, come back to the home page and proceed with the application form.
• Click on ‘Apply Online’ option.
• Online UPTET 2017 application form will be displayed.
• Fill all the details carefully.
• Upload the photograph and signature.
• Save all the details on the server.
• Pay the examination fee as prescribed by the Basic Education Board of Uttar Pradesh.
• Take the printout of application form.

Exam Pattern: -

• UPTET 2017 examination is divided into two papers.
• Candidates who are aspiring to become a teacher for Classes 1 to 5 must appear for Paper I examination.
• Candidates who are eligible to become a teacher for Classes 6 to 8 can appear for Paper II.
• Candidates who have eligibility to appear for both the papers can register for the same.
• All the questions in the UPTET 2017 examination will be objective in nature.

• September 8, 2017, is the deadline to complete the registration process for UPTET 2017 examination.
