GITAM University has declared the result of Gitam Admission Test (GAT) 2017 on Thursday, May 4, 2017, for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions. The candidates can now check their ranks and marks obtained in GITAM GAT 2017 on the official website and verify whether he/she has qualified for the GITAM GAT PGT and GITAM GAT counselling session or not.
The counselling session will begin from 15 May 2017.

The eligible candidates who have qualified for GAT 2017 will have to attend online counselling with call letter. The counselling call letter is to be downloaded from the official website for seeking admission in the following course degree, Bachelor of technology (B.tech)/ B.Pharm/ B.Arch. / 6 Year Dual Degree (B.Tech. + M.Tech.) / M.Pharmacy / M.Tech programs for the academic session 2017-18 in GITAM University campuses of Visakhapatnam,Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Steps to check GITAM GAT Result 2017:
- Visit the official website.
- Click on GITAM GAT result link on the home page.
- A new web page will be opened, enter your date of birth and hall ticket number.
- The result will be displayed after submitting the details.
- Download your scorecard, also take the print out of GITAM GAT 2017 result for future reference.

G Jayanth Harsha (Bhashyam Junior College, Guntur) has secured the first rank while Bheemal Sai Surya (Tirumala Junior College, Rajahmundry) got the second position in the merit list. Battu Sri Charan (Sasi Velivennu) and Lingampalli Aditya (Tirumala Junior College, Rajahmundry) have bagged third and fourth rank respectively. While Padakanti Rohit (Sri Chaitanya) and Shivang Gupta (Narayana Jr. College) of Hyderabad have obtained the 5th and 6th ranks in GAT 2017.
Top 10 students in the merit list will be given 100 percent scholarship and students securing the rank between 11 and 100 will be given a fee waiver of 50 percent.
