RGUKT AP (IIIT) Admission 2022: The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) has published the notification for 2022-23 admissions to the two-year PUC and four-year B.Tech degree programme at the institution. The notification was released on the morning of Tuesday, August 30, 2022, while the application process commenced from 2 PM onwards. The last date to apply for RGUKT AP (IIIT) Admission 2022 is September 19, 2022, until 5 PM.

The application form is released online at https://rgukt.in. Aspirants can also fill out the application form through AP Online Centre or MeeSeva. The application fee (SC/ST: INR 150/- and Others: INR 250/-) can either be paid online or in cash at AP Online Centres.

RGUKT AP (IIIT) Notification 2022 details the eligibility criteria, which the candidates must go through before applying. RGUKT AP Eligibility Criteria 2022 is as follows:

• The candidate must have passed 10th or equivalent 2022 examinations in first attempt through recognized boards by AP/Telangana governments or through CBSE/ICSE boards. Students who passed in Supplementary examination 2022 are also eligible.
• The candidate shall be a resident of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.
• The candidates from other states are eligible only for Supernumerary seats.

RGUKT AP (IIIT) Application Form 2022: Steps to Apply

Once assured about eligibility, candidates can apply for RGUKT AP Admissions 2022 through the steps below:

Step 1: Go to the official website of RGUKT AP at https://rgukt.in.

Step 2: Under ‘Admission - 2022 Information’ section available on the homepage, a link for “Online Application” will be given. Click on it.

Step 3: Candidates will then be redirected to the application form. Read through the instructions carefully before applying.

Step 4: Fill out the details as asked and upload all the relevant documents wherever necessary. Be sure to follow the given format/size/dimensions guidelines while uploading.

Step 5: Recheck all the details once again before paying the application fee and making the final submission.

Note: No correction window will be given after the submission of the application form. However, if the candidate makes a mistake while applying, he/she can fill out the application form online once again. The form submitted latest will only be considered.

  If two or more candidates get the same number of marks in 10th/equivalent, the tie will be broken as per the tie-breaking policy given by RGUKT for the integrated 6-year PUC and B.Tech programme is stated below:

  ii. Higher marks in General Science, followed by

   The selection criteria to be used for admission is outlined below:

  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of their overall Class 10th or equivalent marks.
  • For government school students, a deprivation score of 4% will be added to each subject.
  • In the cases where the grades are allotted, the grade to marks conversion will be done by the Governing Council of RGUKT and the converted percentages will be used for selection.

  A special reservation for girls is available in each category. In each SC/ST/BC/other categories, 33.33% of seats are reserved for girls. However, if for any stream, the number of girls candidates available is less than the number of reserved seats, those seats will then be occupied by other students of the respective category.

  Since RGUKT is a residential university, 85% of total seats are reserved for local candidates of Andhra Pradesh while the remaining 15% seats are available for students of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Moreover, 10% of Supernumerary seats are reserved for EWS candidates of AP/Telangana.
