RMNLU Wins 7th Leiden Sarin International Air Law Moot Court

The 7th Leiden Sarin International Air Law Moot Court which was held at the Constitutional Court, Jakarta, Indonesia was won by the team from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMNLU),Lucknow.
The runners-up at the competition were National University of Singapore. The four Indian teams that had qualified the national rounds were RMLNLU, Lucknow, RGNUL, Patiala, NALSAR, Hyderabad and NUALS, Kochi.
the team which won the moot court competition comprised of Aj Agarwal, Charu Singh and Abhisekh Dwivedi. This year competition was held at Jakarta, Indonesia from April 7 to April 10, 2016. RMNLU team defeated National University of Singapore in finals to secure this win.
AJ Agarwal, member of the wining team was also adjudged 'Best Orator for The Competition". The teams got to argue before a bench of three experts in International Civil Aviation Law.
In order to qualify for the international round of the moot, team participated and won the National rounds of Leiden Sarin International Air Law Moot Court. National rounds of the competition was held at Army Institute of Law, Mohali Chandigarh on Febuary 3, 2016.
The International Air Law Moot Court Competition is a unique opportunity for students seeking to gain experience in the development of arguments in the field of international law and international air law, while also establishing contacts around the world.
The three winners also got an opportunity to intern with Internation Civil Aviation Organization at Montreal, Canada.
