RRB Group D Exams 2022: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has decided to reverse the changes made to the RRB Group D 2022 exam by the board. According to the current announcement, the board would only conduct a single-stage computer-based test (CBT) for the RRB Group D exam in 2022. The Railway Board made considerable modifications to this year's RRB Group D exam on January 24, ranging from expanding vacancies to normalizing marks to holding a two-stage CBT exam.

The board, on the other hand, has now revoked the revisions and issued new changes for the Group D exam. In the RRB Group D exam, the designation of "Assistant Pointsman" has been modified to "Pointsman." According to sources, the board received 1,15,67,248 applications for RRB Group D 2022 on rrbcdg.gov.in.

RRB Group D criteria canceled

RRB Group D changes introduced
Exams will be conducted in two stages.Two-stage CBT has been discontinued. Only a single-stage CBT exam will be administered.
Candidates in the EWS category must present certifications dated no later than April 12, 2019.Candidates in the EWS category will now be able to submit certificates that were issued after the notification date and will be deemed genuine documents.
For multi-session papers, the board implemented a new method of calculating normalized marks. The percentile-based method will now be used to normalize grades.
Candidates will be called for Document Verification based on their performance in the CBT subject to their qualifying in the PET. The number of candidates invited for document verification will henceforth be equivalent to the number of notified openings.
Additional candidates will be considered for empanelment only if there is a gap in empanelment from the merit list or/and as a replacement for recommended candidates who do not join the working post or/and if there are any other specific needs. In the event of a shortfall in candidate empanelment or other exigencies, the RRB/RRC reserves the right to use candidates further down the merit list if necessary, based on merit and candidate preference. However, such candidates will not have any automatic entitlement to be considered for an appointment as a result of this.
If two or more applicants have the same score, their merit position will be established by age criteria, i.e., the older individual will be placed higher on the merit scale, and if the ages are equal, the alphabetical order (A to Z) of the names will be used to break the tie.If two or more candidates have the same normalized percentile score, their merit position will be determined by age criteria, which means that the older person will be placed higher on the merit scale, and if their ages are equal, the alphabetical order (A to Z) of their names will be used to break the tie.
