Rs. 60 Lakh Package for IIM Sambalpur Student
- IIM Sambalpur student has bagged a package of Rs. 60 lakh per annum.
- This is the second outgoing batch of IIM Sambalpur PGP course.
- The average package has increased from Rs. 7.2 lakh/annum last year to Rs. 10 lakh/annum in 2018.
A postgraduate marketing specialization student of IIM Sambalpur has been offered a package of Rs. 60 lakh per annum during the final placements of IIM Sambalpur 2018. The achievement is of great significance for the institute as this is only the second placement session that has been conducted at the prestigious institute since it began operations. A graduating student of the second outgoing batch has brought laurels to the institute.
Anant Milind Kulkarni who belongs to Nanded in Maharashtra has been offered a hefty package by the Tolaram Group, the headquarters of which are located in Singapore. As per the reports, the company's business is spread in more than 75 countries of the world and mainly deal in consumer goods, infrastructure and energy and digital services.

According to sources, while interacting with the authorities of the management institute, Anant expressed immense gratitude towards it. He said that he was a believer in that fact the institute will pave way for success in the time to come, but he didn't know his first attempt would be this big and lucrative. He also said that he was pleasantly surprised to receive such an offer. The salary offer was made to him after three rounds of screening. Before joining IIM Sambalpur, Anant had completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Mr. Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director at IIM-S stated that there has been a significant rise in the overall placement percentage. Students have been able to grab an average annual offer of around Rs. 10 lakh each. Last year, the average package offered to an IIM Sambalpur graduate stood at Rs. 7.2 lakh per annum.
