SAMS Odisha +3 Second Selection List 2024: Student Academic Management System released SAMS Odisha +3 Round 2 Selection List 2024 on July 5, at degree.samsodisha.gov.in. As per the release time mentioned on the official website, the selection list was supposed to be out by 4 PM but the list was released one hour in advance. Do note that the seat allotment will be provisional in nature. Candidates will have the opportunity to choose the Slide/ Freeze/ Float option against their allotment and pay the admission fees from July 5 (5 PM) to July 8 (11:45 PM) through the SAMS official portal. Based on the seat confirmation, the second round of admission will be held for the confirmed candidates from July 6 (9 AM) to July 9 (5 PM). The vacancies post-Round 2 admission will be filled in Round 3.

SAMS Odisha +3 2024 Round 2 Selection List will include the names of those candidates who haven’t secured a seat before and those who opted for upgradation in Round 1. Furthermore, the SAMS Odisha Second Selection List 2024 will include seat allotment for the chosen candidates based on their college, and course preferences, and the availability of seats in a preferred course or college after Round 1 admission.

SAMS Odisha Plus 3 Second Selection List 2024: What are Float/Freeze/Slide Options?

After allotment, candidates will have to choose either the Float/Freeze/Slide option to confirm their seats. If they do not choose these options, then their seats will be cancelled, and the same will be filled by another candidate in the next round. 

• Freeze: If a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and wants to confirm it for admission, they need to choose the freeze option.

• Float: If a candidate is satisfied with the college allotment, and wants to get admission to a better course in the same HEI, then they need to choose the float option.

• Slide: If a candidate is satisfied with the college allotment, but wants to get admission to a better course in a higher HEI, then they need to choose the slide option.
