Eco Club (The Environmental Society) of Satyawati College (Evening) Delhi University, in association with Department of Environment (Delhi Government) is organizing a one-day seminar on “Environmental Sustainability and Conservation: Issues and Challenges in 21st Century” on November 15, 2017.
Seminar Themes:
The main aim of this seminar is to find a solution to achieve sustainable development and the organizers are inviting young students and researchers from academia and industries to talk about the challenges and solutions. Environmental experts will deliver invited talks and have discussion with young researchers on key issues pertaining to Environmental protection. Authors are required to submit their original and unpublished contribution on the following topics:
- Global Change and Atmospheric Pollution
- Natural Resource Management, Sustainable Agriculture
- Alternative Energy Resources
- Socio-Economic and Legal Dimensions of Sustainable Development
- Sustainable Lifestyle, ECO city, Ecosystem and Wildlife
- Green Lifestyle, Green Synthesis
- Wastewater treatment
- Solid Waste Management, Hazardous Waste Management
Papers are also invited from researchers, scholars and students for interaction at seminars. All the papers should be emailed to drrajivverma@hotmail.com. The Authors of selected papers will be given chance to present it on seminar day.

Registration Fees for Seminar of Environment Conservation at DU:
- Academicians, Professionals from academic institutes: Rs. 800/-
- General Participants: Rs. 500/-
Registration Amount can be paid either by DD (Demand Draft) or multi-city Cheque in favour of “The Principal, Satyawati College (Eve.)” payable at Delhi. There is a NEFT option also available, the details of which, along with the registration form can be found at the official website.

This is a good news but with this growth the use of energy, use of natural resources will also increase and this will cause pollution in nature.
Sustainable development is the answer to the question how humankind coexists harmoniously with the earth and with nature. Keeping this in mind organizers of the seminar believes that they is come out with a good and concrete solution related to this issue.
