SBC & JIMS Organise ‘Delhi FinTech FastTrack’
On this occasion, Chairman of JIMS, Manish Gupta revealed that basic research is the backbone of any innovation. Innovation and research are the basic factors for the development of any startup.
Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) in collaboration with Startup Bootcamp, Singapore and Udgam, a startup incubator based out of the capital city organised the ‘Delhi FinTech Fasttrack’ recently. The event was held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The main objective of the event was to provide a global platform for entrepreneurs and startups for sharing plans and thoughts and getting a right direction for the successful business plan. With an objective to mentor the budding entrepreneurs, Udgam, a Delhi-based startup came forward.
On this occasion, Chairman of JIMS, Manish Gupta revealed that basic research is the backbone of any innovation. Innovation and research are the basic factors for the development of any startup.
He further added that the budding entrepreneurs are free to share their ideas and get it mentored that can be shaped up for commercialization. Budding entrepreneurs and startups need to focus on a human resource plan, financial plan and a strategic plan. Currently, a total number of 12 startups are being guided and mentored by Udgam. He further advised the students to have confidence and go ahead with the ideas.

Program Director of Startup Bootcamp Singapore, Sam Hall gave industrial guidance to the startups. He also guided them on the development of projects, support functions, and elaborated various stages of the programme.
The participants of the event got a chance to interact and engage with Startup Bootcamp. The participants also received valuable feedback from the mentors. The event also helped the participants to present their ideas. The event was attended by: -

The event witnessed the participation of various startups like Currecykart, Wrinq, Pless, Investello and Bachat. Currecykart is one of the famous integrated markets, which plays a significant role in bridging the gap between customers and money changers. The company is playing a crucial role in foreign exchange market by making it more transparent and hassle free. On the other hand, Bachat is a digital automated wallet that gives an understanding of the customers on how much money to save.
The mission of Investello is to automate the evaluation process of stocks on the basis of valuation models. The process helps the customers to select the companies in which they want to invest in. Pless is a renowned startup, which contains the network of verified merchants with pre-installed NFC tags and QR codes. On the other hand, Wrinq is a startup that solves the problem of cash for international businesses.
