SBI PO 2017: Interview Call Letter Available for Download from August 16

The final phase of the recruitment process for the post of Probationary Officers at State Bank of India (SBI) will begin from September 4, 2017. The final stage is also known as Stage III, and SBI will conduct group exercises and interviews to filter the candidates. The final selection and appointment will be based on the performance of the candidates in all the three stages of the selection process. Usually, State Bank of India conducts prelims, mains and interview for the recruitment of Probationary Officers. The Mains examination took place in July 2017.
The call letter for the Phase III selection process will be available for download from August 16, 2017. Candidates who cleared SBI PO Mains 2017 examination can download the call letter for group exercises and interview. According to official notification, there are 2,313 posts vacant for Probationary Officers in various branches of State Bank of India across the country.

For downloading the call letter, the candidates must visit the website of SBI. Check ‘Careers’ column on the official website. Candidates can download the call letter by entering registration number or roll number and date of birth.
The personal interview and group exercise process will have a total weightage of 50 marks, and the candidates will be normalised for 25 marks out of 50. The final merit list will have the names of shortlisted candidates. The final merit list is based on the normalised marks scored by the candidates in written exam and interview. SBI awards 100 marks for students in each category, and top students from these categories will be appointed for the post of Probationary Officer.

Usually, there is a lot of competition for the jobs offered by SBI. Lakhs of candidates appear for the recruitment examination for a limited number of posts. With the increase in the number of candidates, SBI started to conduct three stages of examination to filter the candidates.
