NEET PG Supreme Court Hearing 2024: The Apex Court of India, Supreme Court, has preliminarily heard the petition filed by NEET PG 2024 aspirants on September 13, 2024. However, the Supreme Court sent a notice to NBE in a petition that seeks disclosure of answer keys in NEET PG 2024 exam. The controversy came to light from the release of the NEET PG 2024 results by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on August 23, which initiated the submission of the petition by 19 aspirants on September 7. The leading petitioners of the hearing are Ishika Jain, Kiran Kumar Patil, and Tanmoy Deshmukh. The group is advocating for increased transparency in the result declaration and normalization process. A three-judge bench comprising Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice Manoj Misra, and Justice JB Pardiwala is scheduled to address this issue today.
The unexpectedly low ranks of many candidates have raised questions about the ranking process. Students have petitioned the Supreme Court to direct NBEMS to publish answer keys, response sheets, scores, and normalized results for transparency.
