Andhra Pradesh School Holiday 8 August 2024

• Latest Update at 11:10 PM: The government has not issued an official Andhra Pradesh school holiday 8 August 2024. 
• Latest Update at 7 PM: The official statement for the school holiday has not yet been declared and is expected to be released soon. 
• The weather in Andhra Pradesh has changed and has been raining since last night. All districts are under Yellow Alert. 
• Villages and towns located near the river areas are cautioned to floods. 
• The water level at River Krishna is rising rapidly and all villages are advised to be evacuated as the flood is most likely to hit by the evening. Also, the Prakasam Barrage in Vijayawada is receiving heavy inflow due to the River Krishna.
• Official statement by the official regarding the Andhra Pradesh school holiday 8 August 2024 is most likely to be announced by the late evening today.

Maharashtra School Holiday 8 August 2024

• Latest Update at 11:10 PM: Schools to remain open as no confirmation on school holiday for 8 August 2024 has been announced.
• Latest Update at 7 PM: The Maharashtra school holiday 8 August 2024 is expected to be declared as some districts are experiencing heavy rainfall. 
• Districts Satara, Pune, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Amravati, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, and Chandrapur are still under Yellow Alert with an indication to receive heavy rainfall. 
• The state has not declared an official holiday yet, however, the schools affected by the rain and are under waterlogged shall remain closed until the water is cleared. 

Odisha School Holiday 8 August 2024

• Latest Update at 11:10 PM: The schools to operate as per schedule as the government has not issued a holiday for 8 August 2024.
• Latest Update at 7 PM: School holiday is most likely not to be released for Odisha schools.
• Several districts in Odisha are on Orange Alert (Koraput, Nabarangapur, Baraghar, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, and Sundargarh) for August 7, however, for August 8 the weather seems to improve as a few districts are under Yellow Alert. 
• Districts experiencing floods due to the heavy rains from August 7 may declare an Odisha school holiday 8 August 2024. 
• As per the latest information, a school holiday has not been declared yet by the government. Students and parents shall check here to be updated with the latest updates. 

Assam School Holiday 8 August 2024

• Latest Update at 11:10 PM: Schools affected by floods due to heavy rainfall on August 7 shall remain closed due to water logged. All other schools to continue classes as no official statement on school holiday for 8 August 2024 has been released by the government. 
• Latest Update at 7 PM: As per the latest information available, school holiday 8 August 2024 has not been announced. 
• Except for a few districts of Assam (Kamrup Rural, Nalbari, Hojai, Sibsagar, Charaideo, and Majuli), all other districts are under yellow alert with expected heavy rain and thunderstorms. 
• The government has not yet issued any Assam school holiday 8 August 2024, and is most likely to be announced by the last evening today. 

Gujarat School Holiday 8 August 2024

• Latest Update at 11:10 PM: Schools to conduct classes as per schedule. No holiday announced.
• Latest Update at 7 PM: All schools are to remain open as Gujarat School Holiday 8 August 2024 has not been declared. 
• All districts of Gujarat are under Yellow Alert with a prediction of heavy rain and thunderstorms. School holiday has not yet been announced and is expected to be announced anytime soon. 
• As per the ground reports, the situation is under control and there is no prediction of flood or other calamities.  

Uttarakhand School Holiday 8 August 2024

• Latest Update at 11:10 PM: All schools and colleges to conduct classes as per schedule. 
• Latest Update at 7 PM: The government is yet to release any statement for the Uttarakhand school holiday 8 August 2024. Some private schools are closed as the weather is not convenient yet.
• As per the reports by IMD, all districts are on alert to experience heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. 
• The government has not announced the Uttarakhand school holiday 8 August 2024 yet.
