Delhi University conducts an entrance exam for admission to its (B .Ed. ). programme. Basis the candidate's marks in the test and rank in the merit list, he/she is called for the counseling process.Below is the detailed information about the selection procedure and counseling process.
Selection Procedure: -
- In order to appear for the exam, the candidates should meet the required eligibility criteria, as prescribed in the official notification of admission for the programme.
- Candidates are called for the counseling process on the basis of their entrance test marks and rank in the merit list.
Counselling Process:
- The University’s Counselling Service offers a free and confidential service to all students at the University. Professional counsellors and mental health advisers
- Are available to talk through any personal or emotional concerns that you might have during your time at the University.
- Those who are shortlisted on the basis of their entrance exam performance and their rank in the merit list, will called for counseling at Central Institute of Education.
- Candidates must note that having their name in the counseling selection list does not indicate final selection for admission.
- The list of shortlisted candidates selected will be prepared strictly in order of merit, based on their Marks in the Entrance Test and their preference of institutions during Counseling.
- If there is a tie, the candidate who is older in age will be ranked higher from the other candidates. For regular updates on Schedule of B.Ed. admissions, candidates should check CIE website.
Documents Required For DU B.Ed Admission:
- Candidates should get a proper Statement of Marks in Graduation parts - I, II, III. For postgraduates, getting the Master's Degree Statement of Marks is mandatory
- 10th Standard Marks sheet and certificate must be submitted
- 12th Standard Marks sheet must be submitted.
- Transfer Certificate from the last institution Attended must also be submitted
- Character Certificate from the Last Institution Attended.
- For reserved category student, their Caste Certificate must be submitted during the admission.
- Recent 5 Passport size photographs.
Admission Fee
Note: above mentioned- Those who fails to sub above-mentioned documents during the admission process, will not be eligible for admission.
