DU admissions usually carry on for about four months and are considered to be one of the major processes. However, this year, the admissions took a bit longer than usual due to the confusion and fuss created after centralizing the application process.
Yogesh Tyagi, DU Vice Chancellor said that this year, about 7.5 lakh applications were received by the Delhi University. He added that the reason behind making the application process online was to eliminate any unfair means of admission and to make the entire process a bit more transparent. Another step that they are looking into is making centralized trials for sports and ECA.
