Admission Notice: School of Nano-science and Technology, Shivaji University Announces Admission

Shivaji University has started the process of entrance exams for the year 2016-17. Shivaji University's School of Nanoscience and Technology entrance examination's schedule has been announced.

The academic year 2016-2017 entrance examination for School of Nano Science and Technology (B.Sc. M.Sc. 5 Years integrated Course) will be held on 10th June, 2016.

Qualification :-

12th Science (A Or B or both groups) students are eligible. The candidate passed in 10+2 science examination with minimum 45% marks for open category and 40% marks for the reserve categories are eligible.

Exam Time :- 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Entrance Exam fees & Dates of receipt of application

1. Upto 16th May,. 2016 Rs.300/-
2. Upto 23rd May, 2016 Rs.400/-
3. Upto 30th May, 2016 Rs.900/-

Exam Centers :-

1. Humanities Building, Shivaii University, Kolhapur
2. Y.C.I.S. Satara

About Nanoscience and Technology Course-

The course is spread over 10 semesters. Each semester have five compulsory subject and four laboratory courses. The course structure will be as per 80:20 pattern, 80 marks for theory paper and 20 marks for internal tests. The internal examination will be conducted internally. Along with credit based subject, there is availability of non-credit subjects such as communication skills, Environmental science, personality development, technical and scientific writing, open source tools and webinar in Nanoscience, societal implication of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology etc.
