Symbiosis National Aptitude Test Entrance Exam 2016 (SNAP): Pattern and Syllabus
Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune for materializing the admissions to various Post Graduate Programs (for the academic year 2016-17), is conducting the ‘Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP)’ Test.
SNAP 2016 Paper Pattern & Syllabus
The maximum marks will be 180, and they will be distributed as 40+40+40+60 pattern subsequently and there will be 150 questions in all.
The time duration of the test is two hours, and all the questions will have answers of multiple choice type. Also, each wrong answer will deduct 25% marks (negative marking). The candidates will be suggested to use black or blue ball point pen only.
The SNAP examination question paper 2016 carries four sections viz.
General English (Reading Comprehension)
Verbal Reasoning, and Verbal Ability, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency;
General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario; and
Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
Syllabus for SNAP Test:
Antonyms, Grammar, Synonyms, Reading Comprehension, Verbal, Vocabulary, Verbal Ability, Reasoning, Comprehension of a Passage, Sentence Completion.
Analytical & Logical Reasoning Syllabus: Analysis, Analogies, Arithmetical Number Series, Arithmetical Reasoning, Space Visualization, Similarities, Verbal And Figure Classification, Judgment, Problem-Solving, Relationship Concepts, Observation, Differences, Visual Memory, Decision-Making, Discrimination.
General Awareness Syllabus: Current Affairs, Business Scenario, General Knowledge, Economic condition of India and Other countries, Social Scenario of Indian and the other countries.
Quantitative Syllabus: Basic Mathematical relations and Formulas, Data Interpretation, Arithmetic, Computation, Measurements, Data Sufficiency, Relationship between Numbers, and, Time & Distance.
