Ewing Christian College, Allahabad organizes Spandan 2016 Cultural Fest

SPANDAN: “Unity reveals the truth”. The Youth Fest of Ewing Christian College: ECC

The Youth Fest of Ewing Christian College, Allahabad (ECC) was celebrated with much aplomb in its university campus.Known as “SPANDAN”, it is an inter-university youth festival, which started from January 28, 2016 and continued till the 6, February, 2016.

Such an event which contains cultural, academic and social activities plays a big ro le in the overall development of the mind and physique of young pupils. It provides great opportunity to the vibrant students to show case their talents in different forms.

‘Spandan – 2016’, the annual cultural youth festival of Ewing Christian College (ECC) was honoured by Chief Guest - Iftekhar Hussain and Yogesh Yadav, who was the Special Guest of the inaugural ceremony. Hussain and Yadav along with Kusum Sarane inaugurated the fest by lighting the traditional lamps in the presence of Principal Dr. M Massey and other faculty members. The students participated in the events with enthusiasm and cheered the participants. The first day events included rangoli and antakshari competitions besides cultural programmes.

ECC Chatra Sangh President Saurbah Tripathi, Vice-President Aqib Javed, Ankush Sharma, Shivam Kesarwani, Shubham Shukla, Shailendra Singh, Shailesh Mira, Prashant Verma, Kaushik Shukla, Mukesh Tiwari, Amit Singh Chandel, Akriti, Anushka, Shreya, Shubhangi, Shweta, Danishta and others were present on the occasion.

• 29^th January, 2016: Singing
• 30^th January, 2016: Painting/ Mehandi/Quiz
• 1^st February, 2016: Cooking/PPT/Kavi Sammelan/Laughter Challenge/ Mono Acting
• 2^nd February, 2016: Dance
• 3^rd February, 2016: Debate/JAM-Just A Minute/HAM-Half A Minute/Treasure Hunt
• 4^th February, 2016: Sketching/Fete/Computer Gaming
• 5^th February, 2016: Skit/Fasion Show/Folk Dance
• 6^th February, 2016: Duet Dance/Band Show/Prize Ceremony
