SPJIMR, Mumbai Launches Management Courses for Women
The Institute has taken an excellent step in developing a pipeline of women leaders for future.
S.P Jain Institute of Management and Research has launched a new management course for women who wish to return to work after a career break. The name of the programme Management Programme for Women (MPW). The duration of this post graduate management programme is eleven months. The primary objective of the course is to meet the knowledge gaps and skills development needs of women who are planning to return to a corporate career after a break of more than two years.

The Institute has taken an excellent step in developing a pipeline of women leaders for future. According to the research conducted by the Institute, most of the women drop out in the mid of the career before attaining higher positions. The MPW course is targeted to meet the needs of women who want to continue their career. The course will make the women take up the challenges in the current competitive scenario.
The programme was launched on September 1, 2016, by Mr. Deepak Parekh, Chairperson of the SPJIMR Governing Council. He is also the Chairperson of HDFC.
Dr. Ranjan Banerjee, Dean of SPJIMR, said that there are women whose talent is being under-utilized. The course focuses on building leadership potential among the women.
