SPJIMR PGDM Registrations Start September 28; XAT Score No Longer Valid

SP Jain Institute of Management Studies and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai has announced the admission schedule for its PGDM 2021-23 batch. The institute has also released the detailed admission process and selection criteria for the upcoming batch. The institute has announced major changes in selection criteria, which may post problems for certain candidates. Here are the details.
SPJIMR PGDM 2021 Admissions: Important Dates

Registrations for PGDM admission s at SPJIMR will begin from 28th September 2020. The application window will stay open for 1 month and candidates will have until 27th November to fill the SPJIMR application form.
SPJIMR PGDM 2021 Admissions: Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree course from a recognized institute with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CA.
Candidates in the final year of graduation can also apply for the course.
- Work experience is not mandatory for the course but it does provide an advantage in the selection process.

SPJIMR PGDM 2021 Admissions: Entrance Exams & Cut Off
SPJIMR has announced a major change to its PGDM admission criteria. XAT has been dropped from the entrance exams accepted by SPJIMR. PGDM admissions at SPJIMR will now be based on the Common Admission Test (CAT) and Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) only.

SPJIMR PGDM 2021 Admissions: Selection Process
- SPJIMR shortlists some candidates for Early Interviews based on their Academic Record, Work Experience and Achievements. Shortlisted candidates as such will be asked to appear for interviews, which may be conducted online.
After the declaration of entrance exam scores, candidates are shortlisted for the second phase. Here, a candidate's profile and entrance exam scores both are considered for shortlisting.
The final selection of candidates is done as per a composite score created by the institute based on their overall performance and work experience.
