SPPU to Conduct Re-Exam for PG External Students in October
SPPU to conduct a re exam for those who have failed in first attempt in October.
Savitribai Phule Pune University students who are pursuing their post graduation as external students are in for a treat. From this year, the University has decided to put a halt on the waiting of those students who are unable to clear their exam in the first attempt. From now on, instead of wasting an academic year, students can now sit for the re- exam in the same year in the month of October.
With this, the students will no longer have to wait for the exams in the next academic year.
According to the head of external exams, Shivaji Ahire, this decision will be helpful for the student’s future as earlier even if a student failed in even one subject, they had to wait for the next year examinations in the month of march to re-appear for the exam. With this decision, they won’t face any academic loss due to time as they can appear for the re-exam in the month of October.
Undergraduate students were already being offered this October re-exam option, now it will also be available for the post graduate students.
Around 20,000 PG students will be benefited from this move of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
