SRM University Organises Short-Term Training Program on Graph Theory
- Short Term Training Program on Graph Theory and its Applications at SRM University (STTP 2017) was successfully conducted on November 3, 2017 and November 4, 2017.
Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Sciences and Humanities of SRM University in association with Vishwa and Devji organized a short-term training programme on Graph Theory and its Applications on 3rd and 4th November 2017.
Theme of the Programme:
Graph Theory has huge potential for application in many fields such as CSE, computer networks and much more, as it is closely related to major fields of research in discrete mathematics. It is used to solve real-life problems.
The main aim of this programme was to bring experts and young researchers and provide them a stage where they could discuss new advancements in this field.

About Department of Mathematics at SRM:
Department of Mathematics was established in 1985, and currently, has 90 faculty members and 54 students who are pursuing Ph.D. It offers UG, PG courses and handles all the mathematics subjects. Faculties actively take part in research work, conferences and seminar to keep themselves updated.
