St Stephen's to Follow DU’s Centralised Admission Procedure

The centralised admission process will now be followed in Delhi University's minority colleges such as St Stephen's and Jesus and Mary college from the upcoming academic session rather than having separate registrations.

The institutions will follow their own admission policy of selection of students but have opted for the DU’s centrally admission process.

The university's 24-member admission committee, on Monday took a decision in this regard.

"It has been decided that these colleges will not have separate registrations but will be part of the centralised registration process. However, thereafter they will follow their own admission policy for selection of students," a committee member said.

Mata Sundari College for Women, Sri Guru Nanak Dev (SGND) Khalsa College and Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce are three colleges run by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) were granted minority status by the Delhi High Court last year, have also approached the university authorities to permit them to have independent admission process from the upcoming session.
