Statics Department (SUK) Organises Workshop on SPSS

Department of Statistics, Shivaji University, Kolhapur organised Free workshop on A Workshop on Statistical Data Analysis using SPSS (WSDAS). This workshop will be held at the University on June 6.

Objective of the Workshop-

The main objective of the workshop is to provide a training to researchers and faculty members of other disciplines for statistical analysis using statistical software SPSS. It is planned to give series of lectures on basic concepts of statistics and to organize hands-on sessions in laboratory. Around 20 participants are expected to join. These can be from life sciences, commerce, social sciences and languages.

The workshop will help the needy researchers to strengthen the study related to their empirical research. It will also enrich the outcome of their research by way of validating their hypotheses. It is expected that after the training in the workshop, participants will able to incorporate statistical analysis in the research article to enhance acceptance rate for publication.

REGISTRATION:

A soft copy of the filled registration form is to be emailed to svr_stats@unishivaji.ac.in on or before June 3, 2016. Selected participants will be intimated through email.

The selected participants have to submit a hard copy of the registration form duly filled in along with a demand draft (DD) worth 3000/- drawn in favor of “Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur” payable at Kolhapur towards the registration fee. Lodging and boarding if required, have to be arranged by the participants at their own cost. The outstation participant may be provided with paid Guest House facility on prior request.
