CLAT 2023: Strategy to Score Well in GK & Current Affairs

The essential guidelines to score well 30+ in CLAT 2023 GK & Current Affairs are enlisted here:

1. Go through your notes

With only less than a week left for the exam, it is no good time to go through all the newspapers and news cuttings. Instead, if you have prepared notes, make quick revisions through them on a daily basis for better remembrance. All the major events from the final quarter of 2021 to at least November 2022 must be covered.

2. Pay attention to details

One of the questions asked in 2022 was the name of the president of Ukraine and two of the options were Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Volodymyr S. Zelenskyy. Thus, it is important to pay attention to the details of the news.

3. Read the paragraphs carefully

For many questions, the answers are hidden within the given reference paragraph itself but are tricky to be found. Thus, instead of skipping directly to the questions part, it is advised to make a quick read-through of the paragraph before opting to answer.

4. Mocks & sample papers

While for other sections, previous years’ papers might prove to be quite useful, the same is not the case for CLAT GK & Current Affairs section. It is because the current affairs of those years are no longer relevant but it is still advised to observe the last year’s paper.

On the contrary, solving mocks and sample papers will not only help you manage your time during the examination but also, it will also introduce you to more current topics in newer ways. This is sure to boost your preparation and solving skills together.
