Students using this mode of payment will be charged an additional 1.50% of the exam form fee along with the service tax as applicable. CBSE has launched another new payment option i.e. SBI Buddy. Applicants can use this mode of payment where they will have to pay Rs.20 per transaction along with service tax as applicable.

Talking about the different modes of payment, CBSE officials said that students can pay JEE Main 2017 application fee either by e-challan that is auto-generated during the registration process, credit card/debit card or e-wallet i.e. SBI Buddy and Paytm. Also, students who are paying fees through e-challan will have to make the payment at either Canara, Syndicate, ICICI or HDFC Bank in cash.

CBSE has also made it clear that other modes of payment such as money order, IPO, demand draft, etc. will not be accepted. Also, if payment for the application is done it will not be refunded under any circumstances.
