Students of Electrical Engineering Department, IV Semester GNIT Nagpur, recently visited HI–TECH RESISTORS for an industrial visit and study tour. This Industry is located near Hingna T Point, Jaitada Road, MIDC. Nagpur.
GNIT Nagpur established in 2007 by GNI society is one of the top engineering colleges under RTMNU is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
The college has lush green surrounding which provides a conducive environment for students to grow not only as good Engineers but as world class citizens too. The campus is situated in the vicinity of MIDC Kalmeshwar which is the heart of the industrial zone.Spread over a sprawling 25 acres, the natural form of the landscape has been preserved.
The Industry manufactures Special Purpose Resistors for Multiple Rating. They are well equipped with all the latest Technology for developing thigh end quality products. Mr. Jitu , Senior Engineer HITECH Resistor, explained the various parts of Industry manufacturing machines, uses of manufactured Resistors, Material used for manufacturing Resistors. Resistors are the important part of Electrical Circuits and their precise uses were explained. The students appreciated and praised this industrial visit positively and thanked the department for conducting such an activity. The student learns lot about how the industry works and manufacturing are done in a plant.
The industrial visit was arranged under the guidance of Prof. S. K. Suryvanshee, led by Prof. Praful Kumbhare and Prof. Sneha Thakre. The main objective behind this visit is to let Student can access the Knowledge and understand the manufacturing process and their utilization on Electrical Circuits.
