Students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences Selected for All India Tribal Youth Leadership Programme
- A total number of five Ph.D. research scholars from the institute have been selected for this programme.
- Around 100 students belonging to 52 tribal communities across the country will take part in this programme.
A total number of five students from Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences selected for ‘All India Tribal Youth Leadership Programme’ by Tata Steel. The programme will take place at Asia Plateau, Panchgani (Maharashtra) from May 5, 2017, to May 11, 2017.
The following students have been selected for All India Tribal Youth Leadership Programme: -

- Anupama Bhoi
- Dabaki Naik
- Itaswari Kumura
- Prabati Tubid
The students selected for this programme are pursuing Ph.D. at Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences. Tata Steel is organising an All India Tribal Youth and Leadership Programme in collaboration with Initiative of Change, Panchgani. It is a seven-day programme and 100 students belonging to 52 tribes in 20 states across the country will take part in the programme.

The All India Tribal Youth Leadership Programme is a platform where students belonging to various tribes come together, interact and network with each other. Through this programme, students will also get a new perspective on values and leadership. The programme enables the students to work with zeal and inspiration.
Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder and Director of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology said that the programme would inspire the tribal youth to develop leadership skills and achieve success in life. The programme will also make the students to serve the people belonging to downtrodden sections of society. He further congratulated the students of KISS who have been selected for this leadership programme.
