The Architecture students of School of Planning and Architecture will be participating in “Amaravathi – 2050” two months research activity which is being conducted by Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) on the master plan of New Capital Of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati. The program is jointly supported by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Main motive of this research activity is to train the architecture students in the construction of new capital of Andhra Pradesh. This program mainly focuses on observing the master plan of Amaravathi which is given by the Singapore officials and analyzing various pros and cons of the master plan. This program also focuses on training of the students in proper construction of highways and government buildings in the new capital. The training will be given by the officials of CRDA. This program enables the construction of new capital in an effective way as lots of students conduct research on master plan of Amaravathi.
This program will be attended by students of School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal and JNTU, Hyderabad. The students will be provided accommodation for a period of 2 months by CRDA. The research activities will commence from 1-June-2016.
