Students to Benefit from Oracle India’s D-Change Programme
Oracle India, the global software and Cloud organization have signed a corporate citizenship collaboration with the State Bank of India (SBI) and have introduced the 'D-Change' programme.
Oracle India, the global software and Cloud organization have signed a corporate citizenship collaboration with the State Bank of India (SBI). In addition to this, they have also introduced the 'D-Change' programme that will work in the direction to promote education, learning, will help in women's empowerment and develop the rural skills in India.
With SBI's financial expertise and expansive reach combined with the technical leadership of Oracle, individuals all across India can benefit and work towards the development of a skilled economy involving local communities along the way.

Chairman of SBI, Arundhati Bhattacharya said that SBI will work with all their commitment under the technical guidance and expertise of Oracle to bring a prominent change in the society and contribute to the wave of digital revolution that India is flowing in.
The programme aims to educate teachers, students and parents to increase IT literacy. Oracle and SBI volunteers will be part of the ‘Digital Kushalta ki Aur’ initiative and will conduct teaching sessions at 100 SBI-supported government schools.
The primary projects will be started from August 6 at Rotary Bangalore Vidyalaya, Bengaluru and Mandal Parishad High School situated in Kondapur, Hyderabad under the D-Change programme.

The aim of both the organizations is to work on the information and communication technology (ICT) skills of people for which assistance will be offered by the employee volunteers.
Oracle volunteers will also be organizing learning sessions that will enlighten people about emerging technologies such as cloud, mobile and security, as a step to make students IT savvy.
Another objective of D-Change is to spread awareness and encourage financial literacy among girls and women, especially those who belong to economically weaker sections. The programme will also include motivational sessions for females to adopt IT as a career.
