Anand Kumar, Founder of 'Super 30', Will Deliver a Lecture at Cambridge University

Anand Kumar, the founder of ‘Super 30’, will be sharing his experiences with the making of the Bollywood movie that is based on his pioneering initiative of helping students of deprived classes in cracking IIT Mains and Advanced. He will speak about this at the prestigious Cambridge University.

The acclaimed mathematician, Anand Kumar, accounts for this incident to be hilarious as there was a time when he had a dream of studying at Cambridge University but was unable to make it because of the poor financial conditions of his family.

Kumar will be speaking at the UK-Asia summit that is organised at Cambridge University from 24th June 2019 to 28th June 2019. He will dwell upon his inspirational journey of two decades on which the film titled ‘Super 30’ starring Hritik Roshan is made. It will release on 12th July 2019.

Pranav Kumar, Anand’s brother, looks after the whole management of Super 30 and will be accompanying him to Cambridge. Shah Kamranur Rahman, the programme organiser and senior scientist, said that it was a sheer coincidence that Anand, who mentors the students from the society’s underprivileged sections for getting them admitted to IITs, will be speaking at Cambridge University which has been his dream university since his younger days.

Mr. Rahman said that it is a matter of excitement for many people that Anand will be speaking at the UK-Asia summit. He will have a lot to narrate and share which will not only be about his upcoming film but also about his inspiring tales of the programme. It will be the story of how a simple man belonging to a backward state of India came to be recognised on a global level because of his intellect, endeavour and efforts.

Anand Kumar has already delivered lectures at other famous institutions like Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford etc. and has been featured by the media around the globe through the New York Times, Newsweek, Time, Discovery, Monocle, BBC, French TV, Japanese TV, NHK of Japan etc.
