Super 30 Founder Anand Kumar to Teach IIT Aspirants of Delhi Government Schools
Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister, announced that Anand Kumar will be taking online classes of IIT aspirants of Delhi government schools. Anand Kumar is a famous mathematician and the founder of 'Super 30'.
Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, made an announcement on 23rd July 2019, Wednesday, that the famous mathematician and founder of Super 30, Anand Kumar, has given his consent for taking one online class every month for teaching the IIT aspirants of the government schools of Delhi. Anand Kumar visited some Delhi government schools on Wednesday with Sisodia after which he made this announcement.
The story of Anand Kumar was the inspiration behind the recently released Bollywood movie titled ‘Super 30’. The movie starring Hritik Roshan is running in theatres in all parts of the country.
The film ‘Super 30’ was made tax free by the government of Delhi on Wednesday morning. It tells the entire story of how a Patna-based mathematician started helping underprivileged students and ended up becoming a reputed and famous person who was recognised globally. It is based on the life of Anand Kumar and his efforts to teach students who belong to families with low income. Anand Kumar attained recognition when almost all of his students managed to crack the competitive engineering entrance exams and secured seats in the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Manish Sisodia said that the Delhi government has given tax-free status to the film ‘Super 30’ so that it can reach as many people as possible and be a source of inspiration to the students and teachers. He also expressed his delight at Anand Kumar agreeing to conduct one online class every month for the students of government schools in Delhi. He told that the online class will be conducted across virtual classrooms for the students of class 11th and class 12th.

Actor Hritik Roshan, who has played the role of Anand Kumar in the movie ‘Super 30’, took to the social media platform of Twitter to express his gratitude towards the Delhi government for declaring the movie tax free in the national capital. The movie was already made tax free in the states of Rajasthan, Bihar, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh.
