Supreme Court Law Clerk Exam 2023: Check Exam Pattern
As per the latest announcement by CJI Chandrachud, the first phase of the SC Law Clerk Recruitment 2023 Exam will be conducted offline and comprise Multiple Choice Questions for a total of 300 marks. Phase 2 of the exam will comprise two questions, the answers to which should not exceed 750 words. The detailed SC Law Clerk Exam Pattern 2023 can be checked below:

Candidates will have over three and a half hours to attempt the subjective questions. Of these, one question will be on preparing a brief from a mock judgment followed by a research paper. Examinees will have 30 minutes to read the paper carefully.
In his speech, CJI DY Chandrachud stated that a large number of clerks are recruited in the Supreme Court of India from various other regions. He, along with Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul formed the committee to conduct the Law examination for Clerks. The main objective behind this is to test the analytical skills of aspiring lawyers.
Following the successful conduction of the recruitment exam, those selected for the position will be appointed on a contractual basis with a basic pay of INR 80,000/- in the upcoming session of the Supreme Court of India.
