School of Vocational Education (SVE) at TISS Holds First Graduation Ceremony
School of Vocational Education (SVE) of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) hosts its first convocation ceremony for the 2016-2019 Batch. The event was addressed by many officers and doctors.
School of Vocational Education (SVE) of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) organised the graduation ceremony of its 2016-2019 batch in which students were awarded Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing Management program. The ceremony was organised by TISS-SVE through its Training Hub Partner, Vishrut Associates LLP, Ahmedabad, in which the 2016-19 batch students were awarded degrees. Students get a chance to work and earn as they go through this three-year degree course, which is a job-integrated program. Also, the program provides a practical approach to students in which they seminars and workshops related to the program so that the students may put a step forward in learning the real-time applications.

Retired IAS officer, Rajnikant Jadav - settlement commissioner; Dr Suman Vaishnav, assistant professor in psychology at Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute and CR Parmar, additional DGP - inquiry and SRPF were present for the ceremony. All the officers who were present at the event highlighted the current need of the program. Around 8 students graduated in the 2019 batch received their bachelor degree.

The campus of School of Vocational Education (SVE) of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 2011. The college offers a three-year full-time B.Voc degree across 13 streams. Working on the path of providing industry-relevant skill training to students, the college delivers skilled graduates every year. TISS-SVE offers equal opportunities to all the students so that they can groom up their skills and have a better livelihood.
