Symbiosis Institute of Technology Organises AI Conference and Workshop
- SIT Pune is the first institute in India to hold a conference on Artificial Intelligence.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) Lavale, which is also a constituent college of Symbiosis International (deemed university) has organised a three-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI)and Deep Learning at their campus. The three-day AI conference ends on June 15, 2018. For organizing the conference and workshop on Artificial Intelligence, SIT associated with Leading India.
The organisers of the conference revealed that SIT is the first institute in India to organise a workshop on Artificial Intelligence. During the three-day workshop, the major focus was on harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, supporting and training research groups on solving pressing issues across different sectors of the society including social media analytics, agriculture and healthcare.

The AI conference emphasized that the interface between the student community and industry. The interface will play a premier role in equipping the students and teachers with the latest technology in the world of Artificial Intelligence and deep-learning techniques. AICTE was also one of the partners of the workshop.

AI was one of the emerging fields, which has been attracting a large number of students. At present, there are limited opportunities in India to take up a course in AI. Within few years, AI will be also offered as one of the courses in B.Tech.
