Tamil Nadu B.Ed Admission Counselling to Commence from August 22
There is a slight competition for the B.Ed seats this year.
The counselling for admission into B.Ed course across various colleges of Tamil Nadu is scheduled to commence from August 22, 2016. There are 14 government aided and seven government B.Ed colleges in the state which are offering a total number of 1,777 seats. The application process commenced in the first week of August and closed on August 10, 2016. The counselling is being conducted by Lady Willingdon Advanced Institute of Education.

The officials of the institute mentioned that they received 3,736 applications. There is a slight competition for the B.Ed seats this year. A rank list will be published after the verification of certificates. The counselling will take place from August 22 to August 30, 2016. However, there is no counselling on August 25 on account of ‘Krishnastami’.
After a thorough scrutiny of applications, a separate rank list is prepared and call letters will be sent to the shortlisted candidates. These candidates have to attend the counselling. The candidates will receive call letters in a day or two.
