Anna University conducts TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) for admission to MBA, MCA, and M.Plan/ M.Arch/ M.Tech/ M.E courses. The notification for TANCET 2018 was issued in the first week of April 2018, and the online registration process for the state-level entrance test is already over. The candidates who qualify the entrance test will be eligible for the admission to the above-mentioned courses in Anna University and affiliated courses.

Beginning of TANCET 2019 Application
The application forms for TANCET 2019 have been available since January 2019 and candidates had to apply through the online mode for TANCET 2019. For General category candidates, the TANCET 2019 application fee is Rs. 500 and it is Rs. 250 for SC/ ST/ SCA categories.
Last Date for TANCET 2019 Application
The last date for submitting the TANCET 2019 application is last week of February 2019. Candidates had the option to fill the application form for more than one programme by paying an additional fee.
Admit Card Availability for TANCET 2019
The admit card for TANCET 2019 will be available in the 2nd week of March 2019 on Anna University website. The admit card will be required at the time of examination and also during the admission.
Exam Date for TANCET 2019
TANCET 2019 will be held in the last week of March 2019. The exam will be conducted offline and will have a duration of 2 hours. The maximum number of questions that will be asked is 100.
Result for TANCET 2019
The result for TANCET 2019 will be out in the second week of April 2019. Marksheets can be downloaded after 10 days of the releasing of the result. Candidates can access their result through their login user ID and password.
