TATA Group Launches Skills Development Centre in Hyderabad
The skills development centre accommodate 240 students at a time and the duration of the training varies between 6-16 weeks. Under this skills centre, Industrial training will be also provided by the company.
A skills development centre has been launched in Hyderabad by Tata Group. It has been launched under a corporate social responsibility scheme. The inauguration ceremony took place on 18-July-2016. The skills development centre was inaugurated by Minister of Information Technology, Telangana, Mr K. Taraka Rama Rao.
He said that Tata is a popular company in India which has been offering a wide range of services to people since its inception. The skills development centre has been established to train the educated youth in various skills. These skills would help them to secure a job. The tagline of the skills development centre is ‘Strive’. The country will be developed only if a number of educated youth are provided with employment opportunities. To secure employment they need various skills. After the completion of training in this skills development centre, the company provides a certificate to the candidates which will help them to gain employment.

Tata Group has been running these type of skills development centres in 13 states of the country. There are 70 skills development centres in India which are located in reputed cities like Mumbai, Mohali, Pune, Aligarh and Hyderabad.
