Tata Motors Signs MoU with Symbiosis International for Academic Collaboration
- Tata Motors and Symbiosis International have entered into a six-year academic collaboration.
- A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Tata Motors and Symbiosis International to attract competent managerial talent.
Tata Motors has entered into a six-year collaboration with Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, Pune, with a motive to provide better prospects or opportunities for joint research projects, content development and exchange of knowledge between academia and industry. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Tata Motors and Symbiosis International for this significant academic collaboration. The MoU was signed in the presence of top officials of Tata Motors and Symbiosis International.
As a part of this MoU, Symbiosis International will offer an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management course for the employees of Tata Motors. The course will help the employees to upgrade their business acumen and knowledge.

Chief Human Resource Officer of Tata Motors, Mr. Gajendra Chandel explained the landscape of business is becoming dynamic, and the business scenario is being tuned by the advancement of technology and social media. Therefore, it is highly essential to prepare innovative, strategic, flexible mindset, world-class and competent managerial talent to lead this change. He concluded that the partnership with Symbiosis International is mutually rewarding.

Pro-Chancellor of Symbiosis International, Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar expressed that the institute is highly privileged and excited to collaborate with Tata Motors. The Executive Post Graduate Management course designed by Symbiosis will produce thought leaders from both industry and academia. The mutual agreement with Tata Motors will enable the institute to take up joint research projects in varied domains. The long-term collaboration with Tata Motors will give a board exposure to the students of Symbiosis International, he concluded.
