National Institute of Technology (NIT), Manipur had annual techno- Cultural event today at NIT campus, Langol.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Secretary O Nabakishore and Director of NIT, Manipur Dr. S Birendra Singh as the chief guests.
Registrar of the institute RK Lalit Singh and Academic Dean Dr. Kh Manglem Singh were the guests of honour.
‘Carnival of serenity’ was the name given to fest.
Addressing to Students, O Nabakishore exuded confidence that the festival will go a long way in bonding better relations among the students and foster the spirit of friendship and love among them.
“Most of the alumni of NIT, Manipur have found jobs in big companies. This testifies that NIT, Manipur is making progress in the right and desired direction,” he said.
Dr. N Birendra Singh said that the festival will act as a platform to groom the personality and general conduct of the students. He also urged the students to equally give importance to extracurricular activities. He said that construction of a cricket ground and badminton court will be completed soon in the campus.
The event overall was a big hit!
