Telangana Govt. to Launch BBA Course in Government Degree Colleges
Government Degree Colleges in Telangana to launch the BBA course from the 2019-20 academic session. The government of Telangana is planning to launch the BBA course in at least 10-15 colleges.
The State Government of Telangana has announced that it will launch BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) course in Government Degree Colleges across the state. BBA course in Telangana Government Degree Colleges will be introduced from the upcoming academic session 2019-20. So far, only a few private degree colleges in Telangana are offering BBA course. The government is planning to launch the BBA course in at least 10-15 colleges from the upcoming academic session.
Chairperson of Collegiate Education – Telangana, Mr. Naveen Mittal revealed that the demand for BBA course in Telangana has been increasing, and students are more interested to take up this course due to the excellent career prospects. As many students from remote areas cannot get into private colleges, BBA in Government Degree Colleges will help them to realize their dreams, he added.
According to sources, BBA course will be launched in City College, Hyderabad. Apart from this college, BBA course will be offered in Government Degree Colleges in the following locations –
- Mahbubnagar
- Hanamkonda
- Khammam
- Karimnagar
The list of Government Degree Colleges that will offer BBA course will be released soon. The admission process for BBA course in government degree colleges will be conducted in online mode. Students can register for BBA course through DOST (Degree Online Admissions Telangana). The official notification for DOST 2019 will be released in the second week of May 2019.

Apart from the BBA course, students can register for any of the UG Arts, Science and Commerce courses through DOST.
