TN Government Invites Applications for B.Ed Course
This year, the candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s in Engineering can apply for the B.Ed course. A total number of 240 seats are reserved for Engineering graduates.
The Government of Tamil Nadu has invited applications to fill up vacant B.Ed seats under government quota in the government and aided B.Ed Colleges in Tamil Nadu. The counselling and admission process will be conducted by Lady Willingdon Education Institute. The counselling is conducted to fill 1,777 B.Ed seats.

The Head of the Institution, Thillai Nayaki said that the application forms for the B.Ed courses will be available from 1-August-2016. The applications will be available until 9-August-2016 and the last date for submitting the filled in application forms is 10-August-2016. The applicants can also send the applications through the post.

The cost of the application is Rs. 500 for general category and Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates. The application fee has been increased this year. Last year, the cost of application for general category was Rs. 300.
