TNEA Rank List 2022 will be released tentatively by the afternoon on August 16, 2022, through candidate login at tneaonline.org.
TNEA Rank List 2022: As per the tentative schedule, the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu will release TNEA Rank List 2022 on August 16, 2022, probably by afternoon. The rank list will be released shortly at tneaonline.org through the candidate’s login. To check TNEA Rank List 2022, candidates shall log into their tneaonline.org account using their email address and password.
TNEA Rank List 2022 (Live Updates)
Based on TNEA Rank List 2022, all further counselling procedures will be carried out. The rank list will have the Overall Rank of the candidate and the Community-Wise Rank of the candidate as well. The seat allotted to the candidate, college as well as branch, will be as per their choice, overall rank, and community rank.

DTE Tamil Nadu will prepare the rank list based on the normalized marks in the test and the tie-breaking policy. TNEA Tie-Breaking Policy is implemented if two or more candidates have the same marks in the common merit list and the inter-se-merit list. Then as per the policy, the following order shall be used to determine the ranks of the candidates: (i) Percentage of Marks in Mathematics, (ii) Percentage of Marks in Physics, (iii) Percentage of Marks in the Optional Subject, (iv) Percentage of Total Marks in Class 12th Examination, (v) Percentage of Total marks in Class 10th Examination, (vi) Date of Birth (Older candidate will be given preference), and (vii) Random Number Assigned (Higher value will be given preference).
