TNEA Rank List Date 2023: Know when the rank list is released
TNEA rank list 2023 will be released by the DTE on June 26, 2023 at tnea.org. The candidates should enter their login credentials to check the TNEA 2023 rank list.
TNEA Rank List Date 2023: The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu will release the TNEA rank list 2023 on June 26, 2023, in the online mode. Once the rank list will be released, the same can be checked by the candidates directly at the official website, tneaonline.org. Before that the candidates are advised to keep handy the login credentials, such as the email address and password, which will need to enter for checking the TNEA 2023 rank list.
The authority will prepare the TNEA rank list based on the 11th and 12th marks of the Tamil Nadu students. DTE will release the TNEA rank list for the categories, which will be used for Tamil Nadu B.Tech admission.

Process of Preparing TNEA 2023 Rank List
DTE will prepare the TNEA rank list 2023 based on class 11 and 12 marks, in group subjects that are Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Based on the previous year’s trend, the marks weightage for making the TNEA rank list 2023 has been highlighted here-

TNRA 2023 Rank List: Normalization Process
To make equalize the obtainable marks in classes 11 and 12 (since the students have been belonging to several boards), the DTE will use the normalization process. For the same, the authority will compare the obtainable marks by the students of other boards with the Tamil Nadu state board.
TNEA Rank List 2023: Tie Breaking Policy
If two or more candidates will get the same marks in the qualifying exam, then the authority will prepare a rank list.
- The candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will get higher rank
- If the tie remain persist, then the candidates with higher marks in Physics will be assigned a higher rank
- Again if the tie will remain to persist, then the candidates with higher percentage marks in the fourth optional topic, then he will be granted a higher rank
- Next, the candidates with older age will get higher ranks if the tie still persists
