TNPSC Group VIII Executive Officer Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
The authorities have laid out specific guidelines for the eligibility criteria for the TNPSC Group VIII Executive Officer Recruitment 2022. Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements to qualify for the post. Any candidate found ineligible will be disqualified immediately upon notice. Here are the eligibility criteria:
Age Requirement
- The minimum age of the candidates must be 25 years as of July 1, 2022.
- The maximum age of the candidate must be 37 years as of July 1, 2022, for general category candidates.
- For SC/ST candidates the maximum age required is 42 years as of July 1, 2022, with a relaxation of 5 years.
- For most backward classes, denotified communities must be of the maximum age of 39 years as of July 1, 2022.
- Also, for persons with disabilities for ex-servicemen, the maximum age-eligible is 55 years and for other persons with disabilities, the maximum age is 50 years, as of July 1, 2022.
Educational Qualification Requirement
- Candidates must have completed the minimum required qualification.
- Candidates must have SSLC scores from a recognized university for a complete 11 years in the state (Tamil Nadu).
OR
- Candidates with 10 years of education from a recognized university in the state who have also passed the SSLC Examination will be eligible.
Physical Fitness Requirement
- Candidates will have to produce the certificate of physical fitness by themselves at the time of joining.
- Candidates must comply with the basic requirement of the TNPSC Group VIII Executive Officers post in the physical fitness section.
- Candidates must have a standard vision of Category III to be eligible for the post.
Knowledge of Native Language
The candidate must have adequate knowledge of Tamil, the regional language of Tamil Nadu, along with English.
