Over 2.42 Lakh Candidates Register for TS EAMCET 2021, Higher than Previous Year

TS EAMCET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted from August 4 to 6 for the Engineering stream, and August 9-10 for the Agriculture stream. This year, almost 2,42,825 candidates have registered for the entrance exam, and the number of registrations is higher than the previous year. Last year, over 2.22 lakh candidates registered for TS EAMCET. According to the TSCHE officials, the cancellation of TS Inter Exams 2021 is the major reason for the rise in the number of registrations for TS EAMCET 2021.

This year, TSCHE has revised the syllabus of TS EAMCET 2021 to match with the 30% syllabus cut by the Board of Intermediate Education for 2^nd-year Intermediate courses. Candidates must note that the TS EAMCET question paper will have questions from the full syllabus of Inter 1^st-year and 70% syllabus coverage for 2^nd-year Intermediate. There will be no weightage for Intermediate marks in TS EAMCET 2021.

TS EAMCET 2021 rank is mandatory for admission in B.Tech/ B.Sc Agriculture/ Agriculture Engineering/ B.Pharm courses in Telangana under convener quota (state quota). This year, the admission process is expected to begin by the last week of August. The entrance exam rank is also mandatory for Bachelors in Veterinary Sciences (B.V.Sc).
