TS EAMCET 2020 to be Conducted amid Strict Safety Measures, Sanitization and Thermal Screening at Exam Centres
TS EAMCET 2020 is scheduled to be conducted from September 09 to 14, 2020. The entrance exam will be conducted in 94 centres with strict COVID-19 safety measures. Thermal screen and sanitization at all exam centres. Masks mandatory for test-takers.
TS EAMCET 2020 – TSCHE (Telangana State Council for Higher Education) is all set to conduct the entrance exam for Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture courses, i.e., TS EAMCET 2020 from September 19 to 14 & 28-29, 2020. The authorities are not ready to postpone the exam, and arrangements are being made to conduct the exam amid strict safety measures. The entrance exam will take place in 90 centres across Telangana and 4 centres in Andhra Pradesh. The dates for the entrance exam have been confirmed, and there will be no changes.
This year, almost 1.45 lakh candidates registered for engineering stream and 75,000 applications for Agriculture and Pharmacy stream. The entrance exam will take place in multiple sessions, and timings of the exam have been revised to make sure that the authorities have enough time to sanitize the exam centres.
TS EAMCET 2020 Covid-19 Safety Measures
The following Covid-19 safety measures will be taken at each exam centre of TS EAMCET 2020 –
Sanitization of Exam Centres: After each session, the exam centre will be sanitized. For this purpose, TSCHE has given three-hour break between session 1 and session 2.
Thermal Screening: Thermal Screening will take place at the entrance of each exam centre. Candidates with mild symptoms will be allocated a separate lab to take the exam.
Social Distancing: The allocation of the computer for online TS EAMCET exam will be made considering the social distancing measures. At least two seats will be kept empty between one candidate to another. Only one parent will be allowed to accompany the student to the exam centre. After the exam, students will have to leave the exam hall one by one. No gatherings are allowed outside the exam hall.
Apart from the above, students will have to wear a mask, carry his/her own water bottle and a small bottle of sanitizer to the exam centre. This year, there will be no biometric attendance system.
Candidates appearing for the TS EAMCET 2020 are advised to maintain all the safety measures.
