TS ICET Rank Card 2023: The Kakatiya University, Warangal has released the results for TS ICET 2023 today, June 29, 2023 at 3:50 PM. Along with the declaration of overall and section-wise percentile scores, the ranks achieved by the candidates are also released. These ranks are the Common Rank List or CRL ranks. Based on these ranks, seat allocation during the counselling will take place.

The unique ranking of each candidate is decided based on the normalized overall scores of the candidates and wherever two or more candidates score the same percentile, a tie-breaking criteria will be used to derive the rankings. It is to be noted that only those candidates who score above or equal to the qualifying marks and are declared ‘Qualified’ will be allocated a rank.

TS ICET Rank Card 2023: Tie-Breaking Criteria

The following is the tie-breaking criteria given by the Kakatiya University to assign ranks in case two or more candidates are found to have scored the exact normalized score:

• The candidate who scores higher marks in Section A will be given a higher rank.
• If the marks scored in Section A are also the same and the tie persists, the candidate scoring higher marks in Section B will be allocated a higher rank.
• If the tie is still not resolved, then the age of the candidate will be taken into account and the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank.
